Dr. Metzger is a board certified psychiatrist and global mental health media expert. She has been featured on NBC, OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network), ABC, Sirius XM, MSNBC, CBS and in The New York Times. She has provided her expertise in Rolling Stone, Time Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Essence, and The Wall Street Journal discussing relationships, anxiety, black mental health, depression and a variety of other mental health topics.

In over 15 years of practice, she has received numerous accolades including being recognized as a member of Emory University’s inaugural class of 40 under Forty in 2018 and the 2019 inaugural recipient of the top 10 under 40 award at Morehouse School of Medicine. Dr. Metzger’s motto of “better mind, better life” encourages her audience to prioritize their mental health in life’s balance. She also is the co-author of the “The Modern Trophy Wife: How To Achieve Your Goals While Thriving At Home”. Dr. Metzger has medical licenses in Georgia, Michigan, Florida and Pennsylvania.
